I'm looking to travel to India and Burma this summer. I have been hearing that it's impossible to cross directly by land from India to Burma and I'm wondering about what the best/easiest way to get to Burma would be? With that also, i am trying to find out how to get a Burmese Visa? I live in Chicago, i looked online but can't seem to find any information on any Burmese Embassies or Consulates or anything. Thanks!

any travel agent will know.I hear they are expensive to get. You can fly in. I know the easiest way to get there would be on an escorted tour. the agent would look after every detail,including the visa you require.
