Which Breed Of Dog Should I Get

Which Breed Of Dog Should I Get?
I don't know which breed of dog i should get cuz there r just too many adorable breeds! Pls help me. I wanted to get a border collie but they shed too much so i dont know which breed to get! I live in a condo minium in Myanmar. I live with my parents, my cousins and my aunt and uncle. There is enough space for my dog to run around in. I would like a dog that does not shed too much cuz my brother might get sick. My dog has to be able to tolerate hot weather. I would like a small or medium size. My dog won't be alone that much. I hope this is enough information, if it isn't, pls tell me and i'll add information. I hope u can help!

Well i have a Labrador Retriever and they're not too big and not to small. They don't shed very much, except in the summer where all dogs shed the most which isn't unusual. They're very loyal and playful and if you train them well they are very obedient. They also LOVE people and are very good with kids!

I would recommend you to get a Shih Tzu. They love people, very good with kids(As Shih Tzus really are). They make very good pets, they are very loyal to their owners. They are very friendly, loving, and cute. But the negative side is, that they are hard to train. Shih tzus shed too, but its barely unnoticeable but can be felt, a lot. When you put your Shih Tzu down on your lap, the hair will only stick to your shorts and some part of you shirt. And when your carrying it, the hair will go to your shirt. And I think a Shih Tzu can tolerate hot weather, every summer here in the Philippines, temperature can go up to 39 degrees Celsius and my Shih Tzu can still handle it. All in all, Shih Tzu, definitely worth getting. And the best dog breed for me!

Reminder to everyone: All dogs shed no matter what. Even those "Low-Shedding" breeds. When you groom/brush them, they will shed ----------------------------------- I would suggest a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. They are so adorable and sweet. They don't shed much but as I said, all dogs shed. It can tolerate both hot and cold. They are friendly to everyone! My friend here in Y!A used to have one. They do have a "terrier' type of personality but not that much. Train it well and he/she is fine. And you want some cute Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier pics? Consider a Shi Tsu! The breed is undoubtedly one of the world’s oldest dog breeds. Chinese paintings from the 6th century A.D. show Shi Tzu-like dogs, while documents from the period claim these pets were a gift to the Chinese court from the Byzantine Empire. Shih Tzu were house pets during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644 A.D.) and since that time they’ve been highly prized and fiercely guarded by the Chinese. In 1908, they made their way to England, where they were bred and dispersed to Europe and Australia. The AKC certified the breed in 1969, and it has been a popular competitor and pal ever since. They are lively and energetic companions. Yet, they are also amazingly low-key and satisfied assuming they get an adequate amount of attention. They like nothing better than to be held, stroked, petted and pampered by their owners, and are perfectly happy sitting on the couch with you for hours while you dote on them. This is a noble breed—sometimes translating into arrogance and haughtiness, other times into courageousness and politeness—but they are never too proud for a roll on the floor with a treasured squeaky toy. A good family dog and highly interactive, Shih Tzu usually adapt well to adults and children alike. Not especially suspicious of strangers, they still make an alert and consistent watchdog, barking heartily when people approach the house. For health, Keep an eye on Shih Tzu while they are drinking. Because their noses are so centrally located, water can easily block their breathing. A healthy Shih Tzu can live as long as 15 years. Common health issues include hip dysplasia, ear and kidney infections, and eye problems. Check their ears and eyes regularly for cleanliness. (You can even find special eye drops for them). They are great apartment dwellers. And while they don’t require as much exercise as a Lab, a daily walk is necessary.
