Can you teach even if you cannot spell right?I have a teacher in English who can speak the language well but always misspells words.Does she have the right to teach a language which you cannot spell right? She is from Myanmar and I think she is not a real teacher but only a person who for sometime lived in an English speaking country.I think she has to quit. What do you think?

well i believe that spelling is quite an important part of english. so yes, she should quit.

contact the administration of the school. failing that, appeal to a higher power in your state (assuming you're in the us, i don't know about any other countries)

yes she should. i am a professional writer and my speelings are not too hot either. but i have no right to teach! when it comes to work there is auto correct in word, and proof-reading services, but not in a classroom.

Spelling is a very important part of English, it is just as important as grammar. I don't see how she could qualify as an English teacher if she cannot spell correctly.
