my dream is the same as yours so i advice u to not give up no matter what.don't listen other ppl who say to u that u can't do this. no one tried to do this so hard that he make he's dream come true, u have to try and try until u have it. first u should to learn a little be korean that u can communicate with ppl. i truly believe that one day u make this as well as i,,xDDD lolzzz korea is the only one county who don't have foreigners (non-asians) entertainers when other asian countries have, even halfs who looks like westerns. one day i searched in internet some things about how to become an asian (korean) entertainer and i didn't find nothing who can help me but i found video and words who keeps me to not give up day after day, here it is, hope it helps to u: Hey... DonĂ‚´t ever let somebody tell you, you canĂ‚´t to something. Not even me... Alright? You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period." (Christopher Gardner) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_yW3152Ffc

In order for someone to be a star in a different country. You have to speak the language fluently. Learn Korean first. There are auditions every month so you can come here to Seoul and audition sometime.

Agni, there are singers in Korea who are half non-Korean. Tasha is half Black American and half Korean, and she is highly popular. There are also two girls that are half white and half Korean in the SM entertainment, but as they're not very popular I forgot their name. There are also other non-Korean singers in popular groups such as 2PM and Superjunior. However all of these singers are pretty fluent in Korean. If you can't speak Korean, I would say it would be close to impossible for you to become a singer in Korea. Why become a singer in Korea in the first place if you don't know Korean and all you want to become is a singer? I would say becoming a singer in America or Denmark would be much easier for you. Becoming a singer in Korea is already hard, but since you don't know korean, that would be twice as hard for you. Best of luck to you.

being honest with you.. the chances of you becoming a star in korea is very slim... remember korea is a homgenuous country... at the MOST they will accept some chinese or japanese stars... but any other country is harder... koreans have a strong desire to represent their own people... korean media is just for enjoyment for foreignors... same with japanese mangas.... like alot of people want to dream of drawing mangas in japan, but almost noone was as successful as the japanese people.... why? cause fellow japanese people get better advantages unlike other foreignors.... its the same with korea.... why dont you try auditioning in youre own country.. or maybe america... they are more racially diverse....

before anything, learn korean. there's no easy way around it. you have to learn it. but where there's a will, there's a way, and your being young is a huge plus. even now, there are some prejudices in the conservative population against especially southeast asian/darker ethnicities, because of a very unfortuante image of se asians coming into the country to find low-wage jobs, etc. but the side korea doesn't know so much about? se asians can be gorgeous and culturally "exotic". the world is opening its eyes more and more to this so you have a good chance of using ur ethnicity to ur advantage. second, hey, you can speak english. koreans think thats one of the coolest things a star can be capable of in there. take nichkun from 2pm for example. he's attractive, and no one can argue with me on that. he can speak english. and he's thai. all the better for him, it makes him unique. there's really not too much negative attention at all on him. and if a thai guy can do it, why cant a burmese person do it? so first step, make urself look nice. it'll make it easier for you. and go try an SM GLOBAL AUDITION, it's, well, global, isn't it? if ur serious about it, go for it. practice ur singing and dancing, kpop stuff. they'll probs teach you korean if you get in, but a start is going to be good. good luck! ps im korean and would love to see more se asia in the market. from what im seeing now from nichkun, golf-mike, etc, there shouldnt be too many huge roadblocks if ur really set on this.

Well, the first step would be to learn Korean. (pretty straight-forward) The next step is to post videos of yourself singing (in Korean) on YouTube and other video sharing sites. Put yourself out there--make yourself known. Or, participate in auditions such as the SM Global Auditions (as mentioned before.) Make sure you really do have a great voice, though. Cause if you're a foreigner who wants to be 'known' in the KPOP scene, you'd have to be very good looking or very talented. I'm no expert at these kinds of things but I think I covered the basics.. Hope you have good luck! Don't give up!

You Should Understand How to speak some Korean Let me first start off by saying that I would also like to be a singer in Korea, and I really do respect you for having this dream. I think your chances are pretty slim. Even Koreans themselves have a very slim chance in becoming a famous singer in their own country. There is no one way in becoming a famous singing star in Korea, as is the case in many other countries. You should first go out to many auditions as possible. SM, the company who cranks out SNSD, DBSK/TVXQ, Shinee, BoA,, holds global auditions every single year. I do not think they hold them in Denmark, or anywhere else in Europe due to a low population of Asians, but they do hold it in the US. In the US, they hold auditions in New York specifically NYC I think, Washington D.C., Orange County (I think) California, and Los Angeles California. These areas have a lot of asians. Also, I've heard that this year, they're expanding their audtions to like 14 other countries including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Canada. http://sharingyoochun.wordpress.com/2009/02/04/news-2009-sm-entertainment-global-audition-will-kick-off-in-korea/ JYP, the company who cranks out the Wondergirls, Rain/Bi, 2AM and 2PM, holds even less "global auditions" in Los Angeles California and New York City. I don't think any other company hold auditions outside of korea. If you want to go more frequently to auditions, various entertainment companies located in Seoul hold weekly auditions. So all in all, Europe is not a hot spot to be if you want to get recognized by these korean entertainment companies. Unless you post up videos of yourself singing/dancing on youtube and thousands or people love you. Then you might get recognized. I know JYP Company definitely has a youtube channel. And lastly, there are a couple of Non-Korean/half korean famous singers in Korea. T-ara is Half African American and Half korean. I think the closest we get to Southeast Asia, is Thailand with Nickhun. But his case was extremely special. Apparently he went to a Rain concert and JYP spotted him and asked him to be a trainee. Usually when scouts pick up people like that, the trainees become ENORMOUSLY successful. So with a lot of wishing and a tremendous amount of good/luck and fortune and a lot of moving around and more importantly, talent...you'll be able to get it. I wish you the best of luck :]
