Without a job offer, you cannot just show up and "get" a job. Without an immediate relative to sponsor you, you would have to apply to the government here to immigrate. Be aware that we are experiencing a serious recession so what few jobs there are out there will not be offered to foreigners. Sorry, that's just the way it is for now. Also, please note that we are trying to work through about 925,000 applications from other foreigners who also want to come here to Canada. This takes a lot of time so even if you applied today, it would take you anywhere from 3-5 years to complete the process - and that's assuming you even qualify to come here. As we only accept about 250,000 new immigrants each year, I think you can see that it's a long and drawn out process. Advice? Stay put for the next couple of years. With the backlog of applications and our economic recession, the chances of you being able to come here are close to nil. In a few years, when the economy improves (assuming it does), apply at that time. Remember, you must qualify to come here. Look through http://www.cic.gc.ca and read it very carefully.
