well, to get a resident visa, first you have to qualify, and most are based on petitions filed by close relatives who are themselves US citizens or legal residents. there are a few based on employment and as you know the Diversity Visa lottery, but your chances of winning that any given year are under 1%. your girl could file a fiance petition for you, but only after you've actually met. so if she can't come to Myanmar, maybe the two of you could meet elsewhere like Bangkok. Otherwise though, your chances of getting a resident visa are unfortunately very small.
3 :
You can't. As you have not met in person you would not qualify for a fiancee visa. As you have not met in person it is doubtful whether any relationship would work out in person. This is frequently not the case. You could try to meet in some other country, maybe in Laos or Thailand. If you can build up a real relationship when actually meeting face to face there might be a chance - after maybe two years. If you have an advanced degree or are nationally famous for some skill you can see whether you could get a visa based on this. If you have not, you are stuck with trying the greencard lottery. Never pay for entering the greencard lottery. It is free.

Pick a visa There are basically NINE ways that you can get a visa to live and work in the US: (1) Marriage (or engagement in anticipation of marriage) to a US citizen. (2) You have skills that are in short supply in the US e.g. scientific or medical training. A degree is normally a must. Or you have superior specialist skills with at least 12 years experience. (H visas) (3) You have an Employer who is willing to transfer you - but even the employer has to make a good case for you - so you have to be a manager unless you fall under category (2) above.(L visas) (4) You may get a Green card in the diversity lottery (UK citizens, except N.Ireland, are not generally eligible unless you, your spouse or parents were born abroad or held a different citizenship. (5)You own or buy business (does not get you permanent resident status i.e. no green card)You must be a national of a qualifying Treaty countries. The business must have a minimum value of around $150k (more the better) bearing in mind you will need somewhere to live and with any startup business you will need at least 2 years living money as back up. So a figure of $350k would be a nearer minimum (E-2 visas) (6)You are an "investor" i.e. you have at least US $1m in assets to bring with you. half of that in a few areas. And your background will be investigated to the hilt. (EB-5 visas) (7)You have a close relative (mother, father, brother, sister and no further) who is an US citizen who would sponsor you, approx time this take 2-12 years? (8.The R1 visa is available to foreign members of religious denominations, having bona fide non-profit religious organizations in the U.S., for entering the U.S. to carry on the activities of a minister or religious worker as a profession, occupation or vocation (9)THE UNUSUAL You are in a position to claim refugee status/political asylum. or You get a member of Congress to sponsor a private bill with legislation that applies just to you. The S visa issued to persons who assist US law enforcement to investigate and prosecute crimes and terrorist activities such as money laundering and organized crime Recruitment agent will not take you seriously if you are not already in the US. Writing for jobs is really a waste of time; likewise US employers have no idea what foreign qualification are or mean (except Degrees) it may pay you to get your qualification translated into a US equivalent, there are Companies that do this (www.wes.org) .. But if you are getting a visa under (2) above then you need a job offer before you can get the visa. Your Employer will be your sponsor this will cost them upward of $5k. So you can see you have to be offering something really special to get considered They may also have to prove to the Dept of labor that there is no American who can do the job if the position is to be permanent ©

Probable reasons why access to requested URL has been denied :- a. The link to the email websites going through your internet service provider is down. If this is the case, you may not be able to access other websites also. b. If this is a frequent problem maybe the network connection is not stable. This problem can also cause user to sometimes lose Internet connection. Is it possible for you to make a compliant with your internet service provider? Maybe they can look into the problem and help you solve it.

If America is the worst country to live in, why do people who say that live here

If America is the worst country to live in, why do people who say that live here?
They could always run on over to the United Arab Emirates or the Russian Federation, or Myanmar. I hear those countries are just great.

Please tell me who has ever said this, because I've certainly never heard this from anyone. And remember, part of loving your country is working to make it a better place.
2 :
Americans who say that America is the worst place to live in have never stepped foot outside of the American border.
3 :
Lol well i like America, for the most part.. lol i dont wanna go anywhere else, and if i had to it would be Canada, cuz they seem have no issues, with anyone (At least we dont hear about them)... lol
4 :
You must run around with an interesting crowd. I have never heard anyone living here say that.
5 :
If you're so happy, put a smile on that avatar. You look MISERABLE.
6 :
America has a horrendous foreign policy, we can only strive to change it. We can't do that if we are living in Europe or the Middle East.
7 :
because they just dont really know whats its like to live in other countrys.the next time you hear someone say that,I suggest you ask them how much they traveled around outside of the U.S. I bet I know what the answer is!
8 :
because they can, without getting there heads chopped off
9 :
The conservatives are the ones who are pursing a theocratic police state style agenda. SoI say give them plane tickets and send them on their way..
10 :
who cares, as long as I don't live in america, I would only want 2 get a summer job there, never want 2 move in...:D
11 :
Because they are born here. I'm happy to live in the USA, but there are plenty of other countries to live in that aren't the horrible places YOU mentioned. France, England, Scotland, The Netherlands to name just a few.
12 :
Agreed, as much as many of us argue and disagree. I think most of us would agree that even with its faults-- America is still the greatest [free] and most profitable nation in the world
13 :
Because, while they don't agree with the state of affairs here, they love the freedom they have living here ( including the freedom to run their mouth and not be thrown in prison or shot in the head). It's super hypocritical, but they're usually unhappy people who need something to complain about to begin with.
14 :
I ran to Mexico for the weather and to get away from the rampant development and traffic in Atlanta. Boy do I see the GOOD things in America now. Still wouldn't come back though. The beaches , food, women and weather are just too intoxicating. Glad I have the opportunity to leave when I want though
15 :
Depending on how the election goes, I prefer Australia myself. :-) LOL Knew that ol' td was coming. Have a good day. Edit- If someone doesn't put a stop to a certain issue, it will not be called America eventually and English will not be the number 1 language.
16 :
Or go to Iran or back to Mexico,Haiti or the Dominican Republic.I constantly hear complaints from citizens of the last three mentioned countries.
17 :
People get complacent, and don't realize how good we have it here. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
18 :
they're trapped here by high gas prices
19 :
They're what makes this country suck.
20 :
Some people speak because they have something to say, others speak because they have to say something. I do believe that those who speak the loudest in those tones have no other experience to balance what they say, so they do not fully understand how precious freedom of speach is. It wasn't until I spent some considerable time in some foreign countries, even those friendly to the USA, that I came to appreciate just how good we have it here. Perfect we will never be, as we are a nation of humans, but I do dare those who want to leave the country if one candidate or another is elected to do so or reveal themselves for the ungrateful cowards they truly are.
21 :
Have you ever heard anyone actually say this? Or just people talk about "those people who say it". We have a tendency to just assume "the other guys hate America".. and then we get our whole group so riled up that we convince ourselves they all do. Take a step back, take a moment.. and remember... even though we may vehemently disagree on how to get there.... pretty much all of us here in America want what we feel is best for our country.
22 :
The problem is that some people have certain ideas of what America should be. They think that America should be like Canada with a free national health system. America should be like France with a socialist society... When they compare what America is today, to their precieved perfect societies, America of course fails the test. However these people are very much in deed hyprocrites as they will not move to these countries and renounce their American Citizenship. If America wasn't the greatest country in the world, then why do so many people from all over the world want to imigrate here?
23 :
Because libs need a safe place to whine.
24 :
Because they don't like the current president or policies. Yet they only see or read the news. Which makes other countries look better then ours. Other countries have allot more conflict not reported and these people don't know since they never leave the USA....
25 :
America is the worste country to live in? Tell that to the 3 million illegal aliens who sneak into this country every single year who somehow manage to find jobs, have their kids in our hospitals for free, send their kids to our schools for free, get home loans without social security cards, get drivers licenses, and STILL have enough to send billions back to Mexico.
26 :
The United Arab Emirates is a great country, pay for my ticket and ill go there immediately
27 :
people are just so judgemental here.high gas, there alot of stuff.bush sending the trops to die.just alot.i too younge to move yet.but if i could it would.i'd move to japan, italy, london,uk,are hong kong.
28 :
Hypocracy is a great lifestyle. Just like the lazy friend of the family who moves in till he can find a job, and three years later, he complains about the job market and wonders why there isn't any food in the fridge.
29 :
The ones I hear this from are the bums that leach off of the taxpayers. They do this because they don't feel like they get enough for doing nothing. They need to be deported right along with illegal immigrants.
30 :
I am very proud to call America My Home and support her without regret. I can stand tall and salute the flag and know what she stands for. The problem is NOT the Country but the leaders driving us into ditches, We must stand together and work hard for the right to be here. Generations of Americans have given their lives to keep it free. Stop whinning !!! This is my Country !!! Respect Her !!!
31 :
The only people who say that are ones who have never lived in any other country.
