find new freshwater fish specises?
i live in Myamnar [ Burma] i have some fish photos that was taken from the wild their body shape like Rosy barb from India but colour is white i do not take photo to cyber so i will send it later there are many fish specises undiscovery by western

they discovered the galaxy rasbora in myamnar a year ago, and it's already endangered in the wild now due to over-collecting for the pet trade. there are lots of people over there looking for new species, i just wish more research would be done on them in their natural environment and a small group be taken to breed in captivity, so they're not over-collected and put on the endangered species list :(

Is it a kind of Minnow? They fairly recently (a couple years ago) discovered the Celestial Pearl Danio/Galaxy Rasbora in that area, and it sounds very similar to what you have described... Soop Nazi EDIT: It was actually not over collected. That was a story made up by a guy who wanted to increase the price on them by creating a "lower" supply. If they were so rare in the wild: a. It wouldn't be considered the poor man's food (poor villages eat entire schools of Celestial Pearl Danios at a time) b. It wouldn't be selling for around $3 retail... (if it REALLY WAS endangered, it would be about $10 retail OR illegal...)

it's a bit long but please hear me out ... Neoconservatism is simply an ideoloy wich supports using American economic and military power to bring liberalism, democracy, and human rights to other countries ... in its beginnings , neoconservatism was considered a leftist ideology , The forerunners of neoconservatism were most often socialists or sometimes liberals who strongly supported the Allied cause in World War II, and who were influenced by the Great Depression-era ideas of the New Deal, trade unionism, and Trotskyism the father of modern neoconservatism is considered to be senator Henry M. Jackson (D)...For decades, Democrats who supported a strong international presence for the United States have been called "Scoop Jackson Democrats", the term even being used to describe contemporary Democrats such as Joe Lieberman henry jackson also had great influence on guys like Paul Wolfowitz, Doug Feith and Richard Perle ( the left now labels them as criminals ) these 3 supported sen jackson during his 1972 and 1976 campaigns for president , ironically... jackson also had the support of Marxist theorist Max Shachtman, an associate of Leon Trotsky and that's understandable because neoconseratives are considered left-leaning when it comes to the economy P.S ; i'm not defending them , i just wanted to point out that it's not such a horrile ideolegy ,...espacially for the left because of their similarities when it comes to economical issues have a look at the world , you'll see that the people in most arab countries , iran , north korea , myanmar ...etc all live under savage dictatorships and i don't beleive that the idea of liberating them and introducing them to democracy sounds so horrible to you ... bush and his buddies misused neoconservatism and got us in an unnecessary proxy war for the interests of certain groups ( other than the american people ) but that doesn't mean that the noble cause of neoconservatism should be abandoned... are you with me or not ?

most of these countries aren't so bad as you think.But since ive been enough of explaining things to uninformed/wrongly informed people and since still most countries have something that goes on my nerves (including mine,Serbia) i would choose 3.I am not masochist + animals are quite good company and I have some things that i haven't tried. 3. What kind of question is this ? OF COURSE 12 DUBAI!!!!!!!!! Dubai is the best place on earth every one would love to live there...its just amazing it has everything anyone wants. you should def visit there im sure u will love it specially if ur young! hope it helps
