A friend of mine left me a note before she left for Burma. Can anyone help me translate it

A friend of mine left me a note before she left for Burma. Can anyone help me translate it?
I live in the Los Angeles area (Torrance to be exact). Please let me know if you can help or know any area (market, restaurant...) that Burmese people go to. Thanks. Here's the link to the note. http://duyk2000.deviantart.com/art/Burma-74008663 thanks

maybe she is finding a place where burmish people are familiar or she wants to know some places where she can be familiar with burbish people, or else you can ask the answer to her

This person did not put the note up. They probably doesn't know how to input Burma. I'd strongly suggest you find a digital camera and place the picture on the internet so you can have more people able to translate it. Otherwise, this person meant for someone to meet them in person to help them translate it (hence why they said where they live). Or if that's no good, then where Burmese people might be that can translate it in their area.

china and russia

china and russia?
china and russia government are not humans because they always agree with evil, cruel myanmar government. everybody knos officials of myanmar are not humans at all. if china and russia agree with myanmar government, they also are not humans. tthey do not feel sympathetic how aung san su kyi live under house arrest. can u imagine living @ a house 4 almost 13 yrs without going anywhere. aung san su kyi has been under house arrest 4 13yrs. this time, i earnestly hope china and russia to agree with the submit of american to security council slamming myanmar policies. if they still disagree, what are they? that goes without saying. hope to have a democracy in myanmar.

I agree with you wholehertedly. The house arrest of Nobel Prize winner Aung San Su Kyi by the military junta is a disgrace to the civilized world.

(living in China)... China a reluctant refuge for people from Burma

(living in China)... China a reluctant refuge for people from Burma...?
http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2010/01/27/world/international-uk-china-myanmar.html?_r=1 China's southern neighbor: Burma... thousands of Burmese flock to the Chinese border town of Ruili in Yunnan... massage girls, farmers, and jade traders... seeking a chance to escape poverty... would seem like they all must love China... coz they offer an opportunity to them to escape poverty... but when one asks these Burmese, the typical response is quite the opposite... a burmese Jade trader said: "we hate them"... why would these Burmese hate Chinese?... even though China provides them an opportunity that the military junta of Burma doesn't?... what do you think?...

Burmese people are mistreated by the military junta and junta itself has been able to remain in power because of the Chinese support. I am not surprised with this article.

(living in China)... China a reluctant refuge for people from Burma...?
Burma was conquered by Britain during a bloody 62 year long war (1824-1886). Burma was incorporated into Britain's colonial empire and suffered accordingly. Freed from British tyranny in 1948, Burma has struggled ever since. Burma is now renamed Myanmar, but that has not changed its luck. Some Burmese people want to move to China. Should China accept them? https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/bm.html

Your link gives an error message. I can't really see China being a refuge for people from Burma it has a habit of sending North Korean refuges back to North Korea because they see them as illegal economic migrants. I have the same feeling that any one from Burma would be seen as a illegal economic migrant and be booted out of China too.

The British did awful things in Burma. China sympathizes.
