Why do some people who have a good life complain

Why do some people who have a good life complain?
I hear people complain about so much, and they're living cozy. People in Burma, and other parts of asia should be complaining. People in parts of Africa, and many other countires, they should be complain more. Or even Native American who live on reservations, and the government tires to take land whats left, like build hotels, ect. I hear many people complain, and complain...all sorts of people. Especially some black people. Bash at me if you want but I hear it a lot, and they are living good too. Also, people who waste thier money and complain about it. I know people who buy things they do not need and complain to me about things...it is annoying. I know some do not have much, and I'm not talking about them, I'm talking about the ones who do. I know a lot of you want agree and i do not care.

Because it is natural to want more and see flaws. It's not doing anything about it that is the cause of whining
2 :
So you are you saying that because people have money then they do not have problemss? So do you believe that money CAN buy happiness?
3 :
because they want more they want a more luxurious life than they already have

What should we do about Myanmar, Sudan, North Korea, etc

What should we do about Myanmar, Sudan, North Korea, etc?
Oppressive regimes that are keeping their entire population in abject poverty and misery for the perpetuation and benefit of the few in power. Ethically and philosophically, what should we/America/the West do? Do we sit idle and ignore it? Isn't allowing them to continue basically condoning and accepting their actions? Do we try and get them to rescind with diplomacy and politics? They have no legitimacy with their people, without their autocracy they'd probably be tried and executed by their own people like Saddam; what could we possibly say or do to get them to give that up? Or economic pressures? But their own personal luxurious way of life is built on the backs and blood of their people; press the leaders, and they'll in turn just squeeze the people harder to keep themselves living in opulence. That seems to leave only one course of action, but its the same course thats caused so much acrimony in the country and world since 2003. I just want to know what exactly everyone thinks the better idea would be.

I think there are opposition factions operating in each of those countries. Let them handle their own problems for right now. Their own people need to rise up. We should continue to use diplomatic measures to show our disdain for all oppressed countries. We will continue with humanitarian aid and work in conjunction with other countries through the UN. Countries that are closest to them have far more influence than we do. We can offer our support by other means, but they haven't been appreciative of our offerings, i.e., Myanmar's refusal to take our help and off-load survival goods. Instead when they finally took them, they kept everything from their own people until the markings of the USA were replaced by their own. Those people may never know that we sent aid. North Korea was squeezed by economic sanctions, and the next government that may take over if Kim dies or becomes incapacitated may be worse. South Korea is more concerned because of their proximity.

Let them solve their own injustices. We really can't help people evolve. If we work to perfect our own systems at least that can serve as a model to follow. The changes in communication in the last 10 years are doing more good than our government could ever do. Revolution is within any peoples reach, education is the foundation.

Myanmar(Burma) disaster: why isn't an "air drop" of life essentials being considered

Myanmar(Burma) disaster: why isn't an "air drop" of life essentials being considered?
Am I living in "fantasy-land" by suggesting such an option? Would appreciate any military experts opinions, or from any thoughtful, logical person(s). Why,with this country's "logistics" capability, and the greatest air force in the world, perform an "air drop" of food and water to this devestated country; why couldn't if need be, our cargo planes, helicopters(whatever) be accompanied by jet fighters or thru other military means except an outright assault, thwart their despicable government, and deliver directly to the people the needed supplies? Don't we have airbases in such countries as Uzbekistan or others in that area of the globe, which could accomodate such a project? Someone, please enlighten me. Alberich Responders: I guess I didn't make my question clear. I'm speaking of an "air drop" of essentail supplies: the planes wouldn't need "to land" - employ parachutes. If the cargo planes were accompanied by fighter jets, do you really think Myanmar's air force(if they have one)would dare attack us? They would be obliterated? We can send air strikes into Libyia, Somalia, etc., with impunity; what's to stop us from doing the same in Myanmar? I don't understand. Alberich

because the junta would have the right to shoot planes that go into their airspace... What boggles me is if Burma had oil we would have invaded them long ago. but since they dont, bush stands in front of the white house and begs the government to let us help.. strange world we live in

I would be happy to enlighten you. There have been 3 C5 airlift military planes loaded with relief supplies in the air. They were refused permission to land by the Burma government. There are tons and tons of relief supplies at the airport in LA California. They are waiting to be loaded on planes. But the Burma government told officials they will not accept the supplies. In the news today it was reported that Burma will not allow even the United Nations to provide assistance. So thousands of people will die because they have a bone head government. I don't believe the liberal idiot above me. Thousands of people will die and all he wants to do is bash Bush. Typical.

Myanmar has never done anything for the United States.Myanmar is none of our business. If we don't belong in Iraq we don't belong in Myanmar. Let them eat cake.

In case it got into the wrong hands!!!

mainly because their government didn't want us to!

Air Drops for Myanmar

Air Drops for Myanmar?
Why would the US consider air drops for the Burmese hurricane victims when we would not do the same for our own people in New Orleans? Forgot all the right wing rush limpboy ravings about self suffficiency, no guvment handouts? Why don't they just get Rove to spin this as their fault for living there like he did for New Orleans people? Why not send aird drop "Brownie" head first with no parachute?

It is the US's desperate attempt to help the country however, I know that the actual citizens would want our help but the government isn't allowing it. Why risk invading their airspace without authorization? That would just add on to the numerous issues the US is already having. Answer mine, it is about the same thing. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylc=X3oDMTE1OXRpbTcwBF9TAzIxMTU1MTcxMTgEc2VjA2Fuc19ub3QEc2xrA2Fuc21vcmU-;_ylv=3?qid=20080508133015AAKhBQ7

You gotta be kidding. The American taxpayer has seen millions of our dollars flushed down the toilet of New Orleans. Those houses in the lazy class neighborhoods have been bought and paid for 6 or 7 times now. The government did the right thing by simply relocating the lazy ones and giving them new addresses for receiving their welfare checks. Funny how the people in Kansas who lost their entire town last year to a tornado are almost done rebuilding. Without government handouts or tons of college kids. Go figure.
