Its kinda comical to see this whole 'emo' movement. What's the point? It's not possible that all 'emo' people are so sad, dark and depressed ALL the time. Get real. I'm sure that the majority of these little kids are just posing to fit in and find some kind of identity. Buts its not mentally or physically healthy to wear this 'cloak' of 'emo'tional problems and live in some world of translucent and perpetual depression. That's not even logical. I mean who really WANTS to feel depressed? Maybe those who simply want attention. My thing is this, If you can afford to buy your little emo clothes and buy your favorite emo bands cd every week, and stay in your little air conditioned room and blog on your little emo blog site, then you really don't have any problems. Go to Sudan, or Myanmar, or Fallujah, or somewhere where there IS no internet, no electricity, no water, no food, no hope. THATS EMO!! Quit all that silly posing, quit whining to your parents, get a job, and grow up!

dude, here's the deal. "emo" is an extremely offensive term to me. its like i'm some poser...when im not. ok my parents both died, im living with my aunt who's terminally ill, people love tormenting me....that's when life sucks ok? thats when you are depressed...and to all you posers out ther...QUIT IT!

I understand what you're saying... the thing is... people have different ideas, that's the problem. Many of them may be only acting depressed because they want to fit in but that's their thing! They thrive on peers so they adopt anything new... kinda sounds like survival, huh? Only, this isn't about preservation of life, but preservation of popular acceptance. Kinda weird, isn't it?

The only reason I'd be emo is if there was no food. Like ABSOLUTELY no food, not even rats or roaches.
