Who knows how many have been killed, and how the sanitation problems after the storm may make many people sick! If the "junta" failed to warn people, they have this on their heads. My sis-in-law and her new twin babies live in Yangon, the internet is down, will you pray for them too? We probably won't hear from them for a long time and we have no way of knowing.

Yes, I will pray for all the people in Myanmar, and I will include your sister-in-law and her twin babies in those prayers.

Yes its sad but I wonder how many of these 10,000 were killed not by the cyclone but by their own military junta. ? Could this just be a way to justify the huge number of missing persons even before the terrible cyclone. ?

I never pray for anybody..The church had a special prayer service for my sick aunt and she died.

I pray that the money goes to the humanitarian efforts and give the Burmese shelters and blankets. Medicine if they caught a fever. I pray for fresh bottled water for all the victims. I pray no one dies of diseases. Lots of fresh fruits and food aids needed. Cuddly-stuff animals can be distributed for kids so they don't feel scared. I really do hope to see better results than Hurricane Katrina even though the death number is nearly 20x.

Yes, and the international community is responding generously. We can only hope that the favor would be returned if we are ever in a situation like this.

I am. Our whole world needs to have a spiritual wake-up! No good blaming God...it's man who needs to stop cruelty. Hopefully Burma will be free after this huge storm..
